Larysa Tamilina is a Research Affiliate at Zeppelin University (Germany). She obtained her PhD degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (Germany), where she worked on analyzing the impact of welfare state development on social trust formation.
Prior to her PhD program, Larysa obtained a strong background in socio-economic policy analysis at KU Leaven (Belgium) and CEPS/INSTEAD (Luxembourg). Her initial degree was in the field of finance and banking and was acquired from Odessa State Economic University (Ukraine).
She accumulated rich experience in teaching courses related to social structures, economic theory and economic history. She also has great experience in applying quantitative methods of analysis to socio-economic research.
Her scientific interests are focused on issues related to economic growth, institutional economics, labor market policies, welfare state theory, social capital, social trust and gender equality.
