Ružena Pardelová studied Quantitative Methods in Economics on the University of Economics in Bratislava. She received her PhD degree from the University of Economics in Bratislava in 1982 and since 1990 has worked as an Associate Professor on the Statistics Department. In 2000 - 2011 she was a Vice-dean for Research and Doctoral Study.
Her research and pedagogical orientation: measuring and analysis of indicators of economic growth (GDP based on ESA 95, GDP per capita) and labour market indicators (Employment rate, Unemployment rate etc.), problems of statistical analysis of sustainable development and social inclusion indicators within Strategy Europe 2020.
